Chipotle Mexican Grill

Chipotle is a group of restaurants serving gourmet Mexican food fast, and at reasonable prices. The Web site may be found at www.chipotle.com. The web site has a bit of an "edge" to it, and contains some sophisticated elements, especially on the intranet/administrative side. We develop, maintain and manage all of the "back of the house" functionality for the Chipotle web site. Some of these functions include:

• Online ordering through the DSL (Don't Stand in Line) program. The system processes thousands of meal orders each day.
• Customer comments, including a number of analysis tools and reports that allow these comments to be categorized and acted on.
• Restaurant location finder, using the MapQuest API. This allows a custom look and feel to MapQuest's services.
• Streaming audio broadcasts of the same music that is played in the stores.
• Hits are tracked not only through log files, but through a number of special tracking elements on the Web pages themselves.
• Email awareness and marketing. When new stores are opened, there is a series of email messages that are sent out. We manage all of these email campaigns, mailing out thousands of messages each month.
• "Chip Support" - a full featured marketing support application. This lets dozens of Local Store Managers and others order marketing materials online. The software we developed either creates the materials on the fly and delivers them to the appropriate party, or it directs the order to a number  fulfillment houses.
